Welaka Baptist Church began in 1945 with a long history of ministering to the local community.

The church has been host to many evangelists, including Billy Graham in his early years of preaching.

Pastor Ken Johnson has over 50 years of ministry experience. He has ministered in various positions, including most recently as the Director of the Rhodeheaver Boys Ranch.
